It's coming home? Well, the supermarkets think it might.

England fans aren't the only ones who believe that football's coming home - Iceland has now joined Aldi and Lidl in promising to close stores early if Gareth Southgate's squad make the World Cup final.

Iceland announced it will close stores earlier than its rivals at 2pm if England make it through to the all-important game on Sunday, July 15.

England will play Croatia in the semi-final in Moscow tonight (July 11). If they do make it through to the final stage, they will kick-off at 4pm on Sunday.

Fans are now calling for other supermarket chains to follow in Aldi and Lidl's footsteps.

The announcement comes after ITV revealed it reached a one-minute peak of 24.4 million viewers during England's penalty shoot-out against Colombia on July 3.

Overnight figures from the BBC reported an audience of almost 20 million for the quarter-final against Sweden on Saturday.
