Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj, who is also the Vice President of the ruling Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), said on Wednesday that the upcoming meeting in Paris between leaders of Kosovo and Serbia will determine whether an agreement is achievable this year.

Hoxhaj wrote on a Facebook post: "2019 is a good opportunity to reach an agreement with Serbia but also a missed chance if the Paris Summit doesn't project the principles, expectations and clear parameters about the dialogue."

Hoxhaj said Kosovo is interested and prepared to reach an agreement with Serbia and this can be done through concerted actions between the United States of America and the European Union.  He went on saying that only a meaningful agenda can make 2019 a year of a Kosovo-Serbia agreement.
